As part of Founders Footsteps with the #SouthernProvince, Youghal’s Beavers, Cubs, Scouts, and Ventures gathered to celebrate Founders Day 2025 in true scouting spirit. Taking to the beaches and streets of Youghal, our young adventurers embraced the essence of scouting—community, exploration, and camaraderie.
The day’s activities culminated in a memorable evening at Claycastle, where scouts and leaders joined together for a traditional campfire. Laughter and song filled the air as we shared stories, sang classic scouting tunes, and embraced the warmth of the fire. And of course, no scout campfire is ever complete without s’mores!
A huge thank you to our dedicated leaders for organizing this special event and to the Ventures for expertly lighting the fire. Their efforts ensured a fantastic experience for everyone involved, reinforcing the values of teamwork, leadership, and adventure that scouting is all about.
